Effective date: November 4, 2026
These terms apply to the software licenses sold at the ASheng Store (asheng.fyi/store/ and license.asheng.fyi, “the Store”). By buying or using a plugin from the Store, you agree to these terms.
Our order process for USD card payments is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all such orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns for those orders. Paddle’s buyer terms are available at Paddle Buyer Terms.
1. Seller
- Operated by: Meng Sheng Hsu (trading as “ASheng”)
- Contact: support@asheng.fyi
2. What you buy
The Store sells licenses to use After Effects plugins. You buy the right to use the software, not ownership of it. The plugins run only on Apple Silicon (M-series) Macs with macOS 14 or later and After Effects 2026. Every plugin has a free trial (output carries a watermark); please confirm it works for you before buying.
3. License term and scope
- Each license lasts 365 days from the time the purchase is completed, not from first activation.
- Licenses do not renew automatically. When a license expires the plugin stops working; buy another license to keep using it.
- One license can be active on one Mac at a time. To use a plugin on two Macs, buy two licenses.
- The Golden Pass activates every After Effects plugin in the Store, including plugins released during the pass term. Moving a Golden Pass to another computer follows section 5 (license key) or section 6 (NFT), depending on its form.
4. Payment methods and prices
- TWD (not yet available): credit card, ATM transfer or convenience-store code, processed by ECPay.
- USD card (not yet available): Visa, Mastercard or Apple Pay, processed by Paddle. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for these orders; sales tax may be added depending on where you live.
- Crypto: USDC on the Base network.
- Store pages list both the USDC price and the USD card price. The card price includes payment-processing fees, so it is higher than the USDC price, and it excludes tax; Paddle calculates tax at checkout based on where you live.
- The amount shown on the purchase page applies. While TWD or USD card payment is not yet available, the purchase page marks it as not available.
5. Card purchases: license keys
- After payment, your license key is sent to the email you entered.
- To activate, enter that email and the key; the license is then bound to that Mac.
- One key activates one Mac. To move it, enter the same email and key on the new Mac and the old one is deactivated. Each key can move to another computer once every 24 hours.
- One email can hold several keys.
- A key is for the buyer only. It may not be transferred, resold or shared.
6. Crypto purchases: license NFTs
- After payment, the license is sent as an NFT to the wallet you paid from; you activate by signing with that wallet.
- The license follows the wallet. The NFT can be transferred, and the license moves with it.
- If the wallet is lost, the license cannot be recovered.
- One NFT can move to a different computer at most 3 times in 24 hours.
7. Acceptable use
You may not crack, decompile or modify the plugins, remove or bypass the license check, or redistribute the installers. If you do, the Store may deactivate the license.
8. Refunds
USD card (Paddle) orders: a full refund can be requested within 14 days of purchase. TWD and USDC orders: a full refund can be requested within 7 days of purchase while the license has not been activated. See the Refund Policy for details and how to request one.
9. Updates and support
Updates are free to download while your license is valid. For help, email support@asheng.fyi.
10. Disclaimer
The plugins are provided as is. To the extent the law allows, the Store is not liable for indirect losses from using or being unable to use a plugin (such as lost data or delayed work), and its total liability is limited to the amount you paid for that license.
11. Changes
If these terms change, this page will be updated with a new effective date. Changes do not affect purchases completed before them.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan (Republic of China). Mandatory consumer protection laws where you live still apply.
